Our staff members have spent many years devoted to pursuing excellence in their field and have attained a certain level of expertise to qualify them as instructors and trainers.
Through extensive training, certification and dedication, our staff has attained mastery in their fields and now enjoy sharing their skill and passing it on to our members. Here are a few of Conditioning Spa Health and Fitness Center's staff members:
Tim Balzer (Owner)
Tim is owner of The Conditioning Spa along with his wife Pam. He has implemented some great changes to better serve our members. With his background in marketing and sales, Tim stays abreast of what is happening in the ever changing fitness industry and is always ready to make changes at the Spa to better serve our members.

Pam Balzer (Owner/Business Manager)
Pam is an owner of The Conditioning Spa with her husband Tim and has over 28 years experience in customer service, as well as 12 years of accounting experience.

Mel Reichert
Mel has been with the Spa for more than 20 years, and truely is a "Jack of all trades". With his keen sense of how things work and his many years of experience, he keeps us up and running. As an added bonus, Mel brings a background in racquetball and squash to the Spa. Need a racquet restrung or a grip replaced? Mel can assist you with your racquet needs.

Jenny Brooks (Aerobics Director)
Jenny earned her degree from UNC and has worked with seniors for some time now. She is a nationally certified aerobics instructor and is the head of our Group Fitness and Senior programs. Jenny truly cares about all of our members and looks for fun and inovative ways to get them involved.

Tom Forsyth (Personal Trainer/Group Fitness Instructor)
Tom has 12 years of experience in training Body Builders and Power Lifters. He has also been a body builder competitor himself. He brings to The Spa a vast knowledge of nutritional supplements and assists in the maintenance of our product line. Tom is the instructor of our very popular boot camp classes.

Lindsay Rairdon (Personal Trainer/Kids' Boot Camp Instructor)
Lindsay graduated with honors from the National Personal Training Institute and is certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. As a former gymnast and collegiate athlete in Women's Track and Field, she has a well-rounded background in sports-specific workouts; aerobic conditioning; weight lifting; and flexibility training. Lindsay will also soon receive certification as a Lifestyle and Weight Management Consultant.
